ABOUT US
We started out as a group of moms who wanted to help Hopewell Borough replace the playground equipment that no longer met building code requirements. We've evolved into a great group of volunteers--men, women and children; parents, grandparents, and teenagers; civic leaders, diverse professionals, and private individuals--who are working together to build creative, unique, thoughtful and fun spaces for everyone to enjoy.
This is a community-built project. It will "take a village" to make it successful. Volunteers are needed in many areas, including positions on the Playground Committee. Please email us volunteer@hopewellplayground.com with your area of interest. Your help will be greatly appreciated – now, and for years to come!
Leathers & Associates of Ithaca, NY is the original community-built playground company with nearly 40 years of experience and expertise in both playground design and the cooperative construction process. The MOMS Club of Titusville/Hopewell, NJ is a chapter of the International MOMS club--a non-profit organization that provides a support network and daytime social outlet for at-home mothers (including those who work part-time or run a business from home). The MOMS Club of Titusville/Hopewell is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
