3. Organization (October 2008 - June 2009)

After Design Day, Leathers & Associates will assign a project manager who will help the Playground Committee prepare for construction of the new playgrounds in June 2009. The Playground Committee will focus on promoting the project, building community enthusiasm, networking, fundraising, recruiting volunteers, locating tools and materials, and finalizing the budget. Two to three months before construction the Playground Committee will gear up for the actual building of the playgrounds. They will finalize site plans, set schedules, and prepare lists of responsibilities and construction details.
